Houston, We Have a Few Problems

NUMBER ONE:
KOO-TAN are out in th 1st round. Again. 2 or 3 times this year and January hasn't even ended yet.

NUMBER TWO:
A friend of mine has been telling me stories. Like, her life is sooo happening. Some so bizarre that it is unbelievable. One of it is when she said she met up with a friend of hers, let's call him XYZ. Who happen to be a friend of mine. I knew XYZ through Jela during our secondary school days. She told me that she met him and he went to her place and they joked around and she even told me what the jokes were, how they reacted... the way they joked were like what they would say.

That very night, that friend coincidentally texted me because he was 'going through his phone book' and decided to sms me 'coz so long never sms' me. Long story short, he hasn't seen her in years.

Felt betrayed. Not in a big scale because I took her tales with a pinch of salt.

NUMBER THREE:
I regretted for not buying 2 boxes of 50 PopPops for the children. Now Thursday's kids have none.

NUMBER FOUR:
I still can't get over the fact that I was at the Malaysian Open. =D
Not a problem, but I dunno where to slot this.

NUMBER FIVE:
I dunno how to transfer pictures from my phone to the laptop so no pictures for this post. Or any other posts until i know how to work that thing.

NUMBER SIX:
i have low battery anxiety. Situations get worse especially if you have a phone that drains the living daylights of the battery. i need the portable charger that dsnt require plugs.

NUMBER SEVEN:
hehee =) bai!

Pictures from Cameron Highlands

Sorry for greeting you with my botak patch. That part of my head is most difficult to comb. This picture was taken by Queen when we were in Cameron Highlands. In December. Last year. Stale information, I know. I fail as a journalism student.

You probably may have seen those pictures on FB, but just in case you haven't, here they are.Pictures are not arranged according to date.

This is a picture of Queen pinching Hassaan's head is during the pre-production period. And yes, I was watching Community Channel on Youtube. Hassaan couldn't join us up there because his uncle from Pakistan came down for holiday and he had to bring him around since he has been in Malaysia for a few years. Meeting held in Queen's house mansion.

This is a picture of Raj and Ali. I didn't know that Iran(near the Kurdish or Russian border, i kenot remember which one) has winter. We were all wrapped up in jackets while Ali walked around the Highlands in shorts. Picture taken in front of Raju's shop, Nepenthes at Tanah Rata, CH. Nepenthes is the scientific name for Periuk Kera. I think.

His shop makes the best teas one could ever imagine. The teh panas is so fragrant that one could down 4 cups at one go. Even the water from the highlands tastes deelish. Unfortunately there are only 12 rivers left at CH that are A grade. Which means are not polluted.

This is me. In case you forgot. Was at the REACH office at Berinchang scanning documents and information for our documentary.

Ali and Raj operating the camera with the VIP REACH member at the background. We were interviewing him at the highest peak of CH.

In the river trying to catch macro organisms. I can't remember the exact term for it, but the existence of these living things proofs that this river is very clean therefore they can inhabit it.
In the water with us are 3 apprentices trained by Dr. Liow to conserve the environment. They are Danes, a 14 year old teen(in red jacket) and siblings Melody(in shorts, checking the net) and Anthony(in red but hidden by Anugrah). Melody is in Taylors. Anugrah saw her the other day in college. Small world.

This is a picture of me behind Anugrah who is behind Marcus. Was logging the boom mike behind me. Mr. (what's his name) is a very knowledgeable man. He brought us from the micromini hole into the mossy forest and explained to us probably every single thing we can find in it. I took back a teatree leaf (where teatree oil, found in beauty products). It looks like dill.

Where we went in the mossy forest is
NO.WHERE.NEAR.ANY.TOURISTY.PARTS.OF.THE.FOREST.
I kid you not. It's so deep in the jungle that one wrong turn you make may cause you to either fall down the foresty cliff or get lost in there. The REACH member was far ahead, then Ms. Mangala was behind with me. We called out to him to slow down, but he could not hear us, neither could he be heard. But the atmosphere there is so different. It's cool, peaceful and indeed the air is fresher.

Here's a picture of the guys at work, interviewing taximen.

We are posing in the studio. not really. This is taken in another forest where the above said river was.

We were up at the tallest peak of Pahang. The lookout tower. i think it's called.

They made me put it behind my ears but i refused to.

The lookout tower.

All of us at the lookout tower. Minus Leen who had to go to Singapore for a dodgeball(?) match and minus Hassaan who had to be a tourguide.
From left to right: Ali, Queen, Anugrah, Raj.
The sakai in front is Marcus.

Back at college. Bored while waiting for the tapes to be digitalized.

This trip was indeed an eye opener for me. Saving the environment had never been a passion of mine, and I doubt it will ever be. But it really made me become aware of the environment and how much the condition of the earth(or CH) has deteriorated and how a little goes a long way and how people with weird characters can exist and how people poop in the river and how people at the bottom of the river drink it and how multi storey buildings are not allowed in CH but how irresponsible authorities allow developers to destroy the land and compromise the safety of the people. The list goes on.

This post is just a gist of what we did there. pictures of empty land and plants are not posted here for fear they might bore you as it did to me. i kid again. this blog should be about i, me and myself. not enough space for plants.

have a great day ahead, people.

Then she called again and said that i don't have to give that speech of mine coz someone said has already agreed before me. But I said yes on the spot wor. then you call me for what?

apparently she had a list of people to call, and obviously she called other people (person) 1st la coz my name doesn't begin with an A. disappointed siut.

The ideal RPM Tracklist:

1.Makes Me Wonder-Maroon5(RPM37)/ I Could Have Loved You-Lighthouse Family (RPM42)/TikTok-Ke$ha(RPM47)
2.Bridge Over Troubled Water-Hannah Jones(RPM38)/Sober-Pink (RPM44)
3. Underneath the Radar-Underworld (RPM37)
4. Bend and Break-Keane (RPM32)/Meet Me Halfway-TransNoise(RPM47)
5.Painkiller-Freestylers(RPM36)/Piranha-The Prodigy(RPM45)
6. Adelante-Sash! (RPM40)
7. Welcome to Africa-Paffendorf(RPM37) or Send Me An Angel -Slinkee Minx(RPM41)/Evacuate The Dance Floor-Studio88(RPM46)
8. Broken Strings-James Morrison(RPM43)/Spotlight-Jennifer Hudson(RPM44)
9.Chasing Pavements-Adele (RPM45)/The Man Who Can't Be Moved-The Script(RPM45)/Solo-Iyaz(RPM49)

Or maybe not. There are probably the few favourite tracks of mine.

Instructors can either make or break or bore the tracks. I think tomorrow will be the 3rd week of RPM39 and next week they can mix the tracks again. Whee!

I wish they would put the older tracks again. New ones aren't as motivating. Track 48 is the most alien to me because the foot got fractured when this was introduced. Kinda disliking it. It's 1am now. Would like to tell you more(not really) about RPM but it's shut eye time.

Goodnight. notgonnareadwhatityped,neitheramigonnacheckordoublechecksentence,grammaretc.

Bytheway, my phone can't be switched on. Buttons rosaked. Pretty huge deal to me. =(

HOW ARE YOOOO?!!!!!

I'm very fine thank you =)

So I was thinking(not very much)...
*breaks into a song*
(8) I was thinkin bout you, thinkin bout me, thinkin bout us, what we gonna be(8)
...just a dream~

...but thinkin that... I'll be twentytwoyearsoldthisyear!!!

Never in my entire life did I think I would ever reach this age. It's like a whole mixture of "YEAY-i'm-22-now-what", or do I feel "DAMN-I'm-22-what-have-i-been-doing-my-whole-life"

heh.

What irks me at times is when I visit people's blogs, or hang out with people 'my age', I always feel like I've never matured comparing to people my age. What I think now is what I thought back in those teenage years. Look at the blog. It's full of I,Me, and Myself. Nothing about what 'grown-ups' talk about. Haha... I kid. I kid.

But seriously... hmm... maybe not. haha =D

But enough about me. How are you? =)

Heyy...
So Pik Wah introduced me to

and I kinda sorta enjoyed it abit alot. It has a nice beat. Catchy sial. It even has a hokkien part.

and this is about...

...Jay himself. This song has a music video but I chose to embed this because the translations are more meaningful than the ones I found with the mv. You probably wanna watch the this 1st before watching the mv. But if you have a pictorial/graphic memory, then you should watch the mv before reading the translations(I'm assuming that my reader/readers cannot understand mandarin)

I've never been a jaychou fan, nor a listener, but these two are superb (aside from QiLiXiang and TingMamaDeHua and a few others.Hehee).

The lyrics is apparently about himself and how tough his life has been while being a celebrity. The 1st time I listened to it while watching the mv made me fall in love with the song because I thought it was about a person who is unable to do everything as expected ie: saving the dogs etc. Manatau there is isi tersirat. How i wish i understood mandarin. It would have made it more beautiful.

So now I'm alternating both songs on youtube. One is so cheerful and the other mellow in a touching way. Both contrasting songs kinda damages the emotions if you listen to them back to back to back to back, no? You know what, screw the songs. I'll click the 'X' button on youtube.
